Active Member Boards of the FNMRA include the agencies that have legislative authority to regulate naturopathic medicine in the United States and Canada. The executive or managing director of the Active Member Board is the voting representative to the Federation.
A doctor of naturopathic medicine who is currently licensed/registered by an Active Member Board, is practicing in an unregulated jurisdiction, and is working to pass legislation to promote licensing of naturopathic physicians in that jurisdiction, is eligible to be an Associate Member. Associate Members have no voting rights.
